One on one time with the world’s largest bakery distribution network

The 25 round-table discussions between each supply partner and DDA member will be timed, 12 minute sessions. Here is your chance to wow a great bakery distribution network of several customers in 2 days, please make your presence known with a great table display and presentation.

What do suppliers typically show/present at the DDA?

The success of this event is dependent upon how prepared you are to discuss your products and plans to grow sales in the upcoming year (and beyond). Whatever resources help you achieve this is up to you. Recall, you have a 12-minute session and six feet of table space with limited room on each side. There will NOT be power or cooking available at the tables. No facilities available on site for product prep.

Is this a selling show?

No. This is an opportunity to show products, plan, and set targets/goals for the upcoming year (and beyond). Use the talking points as a guide for your 12 minutes. Please have your representative review their sales data and be ready for some engaging planning for 2024.

How long are the table sessions?

12 minutes.

What is the table layout?

The tables are 6’ with white linens and two chairs on both sides (more chairs available if needed).

Will power strips be available to the tables?

No, however we will have charging stations for your laptops, etc. available at a central point all day.

Wi-Fi is NOT provided during the table sessions.

What is the dress code?

Resort business casual (khaki’s, golf shirts, etc). Please be sure to dress in layers as temp inside can vary with AC/heat.

The average temperatures in Tempe are 60 - 70’s during the day and mid 40’s evenings.

Materials/samples

First, YOU MUST CONTACT CHRISTI O’REILLY at 517-780-4327 or christi.oreilly@dawnfoods.com to receive further instructions and shipping labels. All shipments to the Dawn DC in Phoenix must arrive to the DC on or before January 5, 2024. The deadline is January 5, 2024 no exceptions.
If you send to the Dawn Phoenix location before the deadline January 5: pick up time for materials/samples will be Tuesday, January 23 between the hours of 10 am-1 pm. There is no charge for box handling if this procedure is followed.
If you did not meet the deadline, your shipment must be sent to the hotel and we are not held responsible. Charges from the hotel will apply and be your responsibility.

You must identify who the box is for and if the box needs special handling, i.e., frozen, wet or dry. Hotel handling charges will apply. Contact the hotel for further information.

Transportation

The resort is about 5.5 miles from the Phoenix airport.

Tram from the airport is also available - Valley Metro Light Rail | phoenix.org The tram stops .4 mi from the hotel and is a 10 min walk. Cost for a single ride is $2. Visit the link above for more details. Uber/Lyft are available also from the airport – approximately $20 - $30

Hotel Information

The discounted room rate is $ 259 + taxes.

There is a valet parking fee of $39 plus tax. This does provide in and out use. There is not any self-parking for this hotel.
