

A lot of work has gone into making sure the Chat functionality in this App is World-Class
To access the EXPERIENCEit Event Chat, click the 'Messages' button at the bottom of the App - it provides so many options to chat 😃
There you will find 3 tabs - 'FEED', 'ROOMS' and 'CHATS'
FEEDS: This is where all the general chat about the community is available. This feed will continually flow with lots of chats - including new member welcomes, news about upcoming events and general topics about events. We encourage you to interact with these chats and make your own conversations come to life.
ROOMS: These are chat rooms for specific topics; these will continue to change and evolve. However, the Community Assistance and Support is a special room that is a dedicated area where the community can ask fellow members questions. This is the only place where 'suppliers' can offer their services as solutions to Community questions. There will be no active selling on this site.
CHATS: This is effectively a log of your direct messages with fellow members - these are your private chats.
HOW TO DO FUNKY STUFF:
When sending a message, you can add all sorts of stuff to make it come to life—including images and Giphys. We will be using these for upcoming events and discussions, with lots of photos of community events.
If you press and hold a message, you get lots of options to interact. These include likes, support, flagging messages etc. The chat function in our app also allows community members to set-off their own threads, enabling conversations to continue down key areas of interest and commonality.
RULES:
We don't really want to have a list of lengthy T&C's of usage. However, there are a few framework rules we will include to start:
PLEASE NOTE: Mistakes do happen, however if anyone steps out of line, they will be a '3 strikes and you're out' policy. All the admin team have the ability to do this, and we may 'name and shame' anyone if really out of order! We very much doubt this will happen 😍
